The Curve | Coming Monday, Feb. 15
The news you need to know about COVID-19, health care and the next pandemic
If there’s one thing the coronavirus has shown us, it’s that science and health care can be confusing. They’re often made more so by the multitude of misinformation that’s out there on the internet.
That’s why I created The Curve newsletter.
I’m a reporter covering the pandemic, health and medicine and each Monday I’ll send you an email with the best journalism on COVID-19, health care, what the post-pandemic world may look like and the threats that lie ahead.
As an Ohioan and a reporter at The Columbus Dispatch, I’ll highlight some of my own work as well as stories from my colleagues around the state. You’ll also regularly see me suggest stories from national media outlets along with lesser-known yet reliable websites and medical journals.
This newsletter is named after the one thing we’ve all been watching and trying to flatten over the last year: the curve that shows the trajectory of the coronavirus and other infectious diseases. I promise I’ll do my best to help you stay ahead of that curve each week with this newsletter.

Check your inbox Monday, Feb. 15 for the first newsletter and in the meantime, do me a favor by subscribing and telling your friends.
